This Morning is a British daytime television programme broadcast on ITV. It is currently presented by Phillip Schofield, Holly Willoughby on Monday to Thursday with Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes presenting on a Friday and during the school holidays with guest presenters standing in or contributing items to the show. The show began airing on 3 October 1988 featuring Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan as hosts until their departure in July 2001. It is generally a continuation of the same format effectively making the show a year-round broadcast, featuring Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford as the main presenters.

CBS This Morning is an American morning television show that is broadcast on CBS. The program broadcasts from the CBS Broadcast Center in New York City. It premiered on January 9, 2012, and airs live from 7 to 9 a.m. Eastern Time Monday through Friday; most affiliates in the Central and Mountain time zones air the show on tape-delay from 7 to 9 a.m. local time. Stations in the Pacific Time Zone receive an updated feed with an updated opening and update live reports. It is the tenth distinct program format that CBS has aired in the morning slot since 1954; it replaced The Early Show, which aired from 1999 to 2012. CBS This Morning, which shares its title with a program that ran from 1987 to 1999, was announced on November 15, 2011 by CBS News management as a "redefining" alternative of hard news and analysis. Charlie Rose, Norah O'Donnell and Gayle King serve as weekday anchors of the program.

The current primary anchors are Robin Roberts and George Stephanopoulos, along with newsreader Josh Elliott, weather anchor Sam Champion and lifestyle anchor Lara Spencer. Good Morning America has generally run second in the ratings to NBC's Today since 1995. It overtook its rival for a period from the early to mid-1980s with anchors David Hartman and Joan Lunden, from the late 1980s to the mid-1990s with Charles Gibson and Lunden, and in April 2012 with Roberts and Stephanopoulos. The program has recently started to dominate over its competitors and in August 2013, it celebrated 52 consecutive weeks as the top-rated network morning news program.

Morning Star 1965

Morning Star is a daytime soap opera which aired on NBC from September 27, 1965 to July 1, 1966. The show was created by Ted Corday who created the long-running soap opera Days of our Lives. The show aired at 11:00 AM; it was paired with Paradise Bay which aired after it and also was created by Ted Corday. Morning Star was one of the first soap operas to air in color. The show followes Katy Elliot who was a fashion designer from Connecticut; she moved to New York City to begin work in her chosen field. The show followed her trials and tribulations along with her roommates Joan Mitchell and Joan's daughter Liz. Katy had left her hometown of Springdale after the death of Greg Ross, her fiance, who had been killed in a traffic accident before they were to have been married. In New York, Katy met and fell in love with Bill Riley, She also had contact her her aunt Millie Elliot; her uncle, Ed Elliot, who was a judge in Springdale; and her sixteen year old sister, Jan. Like Days of our Lives, the show opened with an epigraph, as was customary for soaps of the time, "No matter how dark the night, there is always a new dawn to come. The sun is but a morning star." The show's title referred to the sun.

Morning Joe 2007

Morning Joe is a weekday morning talk show on MSNBC, with Joe Scarborough discussing the news of the day in a panel format with co-hosts Mika Brzezinski and Willie Geist. It was created as the replacement for Imus in the Morning, which was canceled in April 2007 after simulcasting on MSNBC since 1996. It airs from 6AM to 9AM Eastern Time.

American Morning 2001

American Morning was a morning news television show that aired on CNN. It ran from 2001 to 2011. American Morning debuted on the day after 9/11, five months earlier than planned. It was anchored by Paula Zahn and Anderson Cooper at its inception. Cooper was replaced by Bill Hemmer in February 2002. The show's next permanent co-anchors were Soledad O'Brien and Miles O'Brien, who fronted the show from 2003 to 2007. They were replaced by John Roberts and Kiran Chetry due to poor ratings. After Roberts and Chetry left in 2011, the show did not have a permanent anchor team and was shelved by CNN at the end of the year. American Morning was replaced by two new programs, Early Start and Starting Point.

It is presented by Keelin Shanley with Anthony Murnane as relief presenter. The show was a success upon its launch. The first show started at 09:00 on January 28, 2013 and the first season ran until May 2013. The show returns for a second season on September 2, 2013. Its biggest competitor is TV3's Ireland AM.
